RSL Awards (Rockschool) Level 4 Diploma DipRSL & Level 6 Licentiate LRSL Mentorship

With a 100% pass success rate for my mentorees I thought I'd give you all an insight to the mentorship I provide specifically for both the DipRSL & LRSL RSL Professional Diplomas as part of my Academic & Professional Musician Mentorship I provide.

Many teachers are looking at undertaking professional diplomas to further their career & to refine their own pedagogy & methods.

I undertook my first diploma (DipRSL) at 18 while still studying my A Levels. Gaining this qualification helped me assess my own teaching & business practices, my own playing discipline & my overall musicianship.

After passing the DipRSL with the LRSL (Licentiate) a big step up, but the most rewarding qualification I have undertaken to date. This cemented my teaching ideologies, pedagogy, business skills, safeguarding & more.

Having both these qualifications set myself apart from other peripatetic & private teachers across the UK & helped me gain & retain students in my private practice & helped me secure lucrative & career defining positions lecturing & writing about music & music education.

I had mentors for both of these qualifications

Mr Clark Ellis (LRSL – G.I.T hons) & Mr Phil Harris BA (Hons) Creative Music Performance. LRSL (dis). SMISIM.

Both guided & mentored me for the Level 4 DipRSL & I then moved on to complete the Level 6 Licentiate LRSL with Clark separately.
